This live webcam is located near Penzance, a town in Cornwall County in southwestern England. The webcam points to St Michael's Mount, not to be confused with the Mont-Saint-Michel department of Manche in Normandy in the north of France.
St Michael's Mount is a granite island about 300 meters from the shore and is accessible on foot when the tide is low. Like its French counterpart, the island is dedicated to Saint Michael.
