Most of the time the webcam points southwest to the Willis Tower, otherwise north to the John Hancock Tower. The Willis Tower is the tallest tower in Chicago and the surrounding area.
The pyramidal architecture of the Willis Tower is reminiscent of the John Hancock Tower, which was for a long time the tallest tower in Chicago.
