View of the central square in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Ala-Too Square. The square was built in 1984 and a huge statue of Lenin was placed in the center of the square. Lenin's statue was moved and a new statue called Erkindik (Freedom) was installed in its place in 2003.
